HVAC – Refrigeration and Ventilation
For decades, Pietro Galliani has been at the forefront of technological innovation in brazing for the industrial and commercial refrigeration sector. Our brazing metals, entirely produced in Italy, are designed to ensure high performance and maximum reliability in cooling and HVAC applications. Our wide range of brazing alloys is engineered to enhance the efficiency and durability of the equipment they are used on.
Why brazing alloys are used:
- To ensure leak-proof joints in systems subject to pressure and temperature variations.
- To provide corrosion resistance in humid or chemically aggressive environments.
- To achieve strong, durable assemblies resistant to mechanical and thermal stress.
Recommended alloys:
- Silver-based alloys (e.g., Ag-Cu-Zn-Sn or Ag-Cu-P): ideal for copper and brass, offering excellent wettability and mechanical strength.
- Phosphorus-copper alloys: used exclusively for copper joints, self-fluxing in reducing atmospheres, economical with good fluidity.
Why these alloys:
- Controlled brazing temperature (below 750 °C), suitable for sensitive components.
- High reliability in joining pipes and fittings in HVAC systems.
