Electrical Contacts
Why brazing alloys are used:
- To ensure conductive and long-lasting electrical joints.
- To assemble miniature or complex-shaped components with precision.
- To meet reliability demands under electrical load and thermal cycling.
Recommended alloys:
- Pure silver or silver-copper alloys: excellent electrical conductivity.
- Low-melting-point soft alloys (e.g. with tin) for heat-sensitive components.
Why these alloys:
- Provide excellent electrical continuity and contact heat resistance.
- Maintain strong joints even with coated or delicate materials.
