Our bimetal strips combine silver with copper or brass. By placing silver in the areas required by the component design, they offer a way to optimise precious-metal use while meeting the application’s technical requirements.
We manufacture customised configurations including through-lay, in-lay, edge-lay, over-lay and multilayer solutions. Dimensions and material combinations are developed according to the customer’s specifications.
Bimetal strips are particularly relevant to manufacturers of fuse elements and electrical contacts. At our stand, we can discuss your current material, component geometry and production process to assess a suitable configuration.

Ultra-thin silver
and copper foils
Pietro Galliani produces silver and copper foils and narrow strips for applications that require controlled dimensions and consistent material properties.
For the fuse industry, our range includes silver strips, copper foils and silver–copper bimetals. Silver and copper foils can be supplied from 8 μm thickness, with formats and specifications selected according to the application.
